Before I trusted Christ
I was born into a Christian family. I never fully gave myself or accepted Christ. My life was incomplete. I was missing something. I tried to fill that gap with alcohol, drugs, women, money. Nothing was satisfying.
When I was incarcerated, my life as I know it was over. I had nothing of any value. No money, no friends, no family. I reached rock bottom.
Since I've trusted Christ
I was offered a Bible and I started reading. I realized that what I was missing was a relationship with Christ. Christ would accept me as I am , a sinner. If I confessed my sins to God, and accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.
I now have a starting relationship with my family. My friends show their love and concern. I think the most important thing about my relationship with Christ is that I feel complete. I know that Christ is with me. I am happy and content. I will accept whatever God's will is for me. I love God, my family, my friends, my neighbors and my enemies. I also know that God loves me.
