Paul responds to the church in Corinth in 2nd Corinthians. Their latest complaint is with Paul's authority. Other individuals, false teachers, claim authority in the church and Paul proposes several tests to combat these claims. He sends Titus and Timothy to help the church there understand true Christian action and faith. The church eventually turns around and begins a new path. However, he implores the Corinthians in 2 Corinthians 13:5 to "Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves."
